Cool Runnings Project

“Coolrunnings”; Africa’s only toboggan track, commissioned RHI tents to provide several shading and weatherproof solutions at their property. The project started 5 years ago with a brief to cover their main restaurant deck and customer queuing area. It then evolved into requesting cover at multiple areas, for their customers and safety marshals alike.

While each site presented many challenges, aesthetically pleasing and functional solutions were found where traditional tenting systems would not function. RHI used a combination of normal and custom designed stretch tents, as well as various ‘Hypar’ type membranes, using patterned double curvature, to achieve unsupported clear span solutions.
